Damone joined the Spartan Academy hoping that his medical training would help him to become the first ever Spartan Medic. He carries a Needler, which has been equipped to fire tranquilizer darts used to lesson the pain suffered by his patients. Unfortunately, one week on a dare, Damone took a shot himself and became hooked on the stuff. It's now his only source of enjoyment, other than worshiping the Plasma Sword which he has named "The Idol".
Damone is stationed on Waterworks with his teammate, Reburst. Together they watch over the battle there and treat any injuries. They were stationed there because one day, while playing a prank on the Commander, Damone accidentally hot-glued the Commanders Armor together. The Commander was stuck in his suit for a week before he finally got it off. After that the Renegades never got any respect from him and were given the worst assignments of any of the Spartan Referees.
